NICCT was formed, when the ITC (the Indian Trade Council) and IDCC (the Indo Dutch Chamber of Commerce), merged together as a single Chamber of Commerce, in the year 2003.
The Chamber aims to facilitate and expand economic, trade and business relations between the two countries, by eliminating the tariffs and restrictions on trade. It also aims to protect the interests of its members.
The partners of NICCT are Royal Tropical Institute, DTB, the India Netherlands Water Platform, NCH, the Agency for International Business Cooperation, INBA and Federation of Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
